Perform heuristic assessments and evaluations
Create a truly interactive design
Collectively, our accessibility and usability experts have conducted more than 500 assessments. Individually, they average at least four years of relevant experience. Most are certified by Human Factors International (HFI).
Mary, an Evantage Usability Analyst
Usability is different from market research. Research studies what a user says and if a product's attractive. Usability determines what users do, not what they say.
"While usability analysis can occur nearly anywhere along a product cycle, it is always better when it's done earlier-before the information architecture is created, before development begins. It's a lot more efficient to imbed usability during initial development than to fit it on at the end. We can save clients lots of frustration and expense by integrating usability early in the development process."
Mary has seven years of experience and Masters Degree in Technical Communication. She is a UPA member and certified Usability Analyst through HFI (Human Factors International). Away from work you'll find her on the track as a jammer/blocker for the Minnesota RollerGirls roller derby team.
